Coding interview involved a simple brute force algorithm. There was no need to bother about time or space complexity. Mostly folks have to be concerned with the growth interview. As mentioned my experience was not really interesting to a recruiter who probably yawning through the interview and feigning interest. The person was caught off guard when I asked about how the interview went. Didn’t seem like someone who was experienced enough to find talent. The rejection mail also had the feedback which didn’t give you anything. The growth interview also focused on weeding out candidates who don’t subscribe to the new Shopify culture. I guess that I didn’t fit in or maybe I dodged a bullet. Time will tell.
