There are no interview questions, just a lengthy test. They present a garbled transcription that basically needs to be rewritten from scratch, and give you an audio clip, and it is your job to fix it to their style standards and sync it to the audio/video clip. They promise *specific feedback* if you are not selected, but a machine algorithm grades your test and sends you a generic rejection letter if it finds something it doesn't like, without any feedback at all. This makes for a frustrating interview process, as even a professional transcriptionist could spend hours reading their style guide, craft a perfect transcription, and have the bot kick it out for any number of reasons. You are likely wasting your time if you try to apply here for one of the remote contractor positions. They flippantly disregard your time by making none of this clear up-front, and making the samples as long and drawn out as possible, with no compensation unless you pass the algo's standards.
They asked about what I felt my strengths were, and what my work preferences were.
