The leadership team tended to be "out of step" with current trends in industry so there were not any difficult or unexpected questions. What was unexpected was a comment regarding a degree of disbelief in my well documented experience. In retrospect, that may have been more of a reflection on the time it takes to make progress on more initiatives due to the culture there.

This is a paraphrase, but I was caught off guard by this particular question, and somewhat offended. I didn't want to harp on it, but I was surprised someone would ask me something like this, considering my faith calls me to love all, which was one of the reasons I applied for the job... "From your background, you seem like someone who is of Christian faith. Many of the families we help are of other races and some are particularly Muslim. Would you have a problem helping people like that?"
