The code test is really short. It's a chocolate shop simulation. You just write an app that allows you to take orders for chocolate, fill those orders, and apply promotions. You could bang it out in an hour if you're sloppy. That's a trap though. The trick is you have to refactor it to perfection. They dinged me for pretty minor stuff, I saw the report later. You need awesome test coverage, have everything be single responsibility, etc. The on-site pairing interview was cool, very laid back. It was like we were actually coworkers on a project together. We had to add features to the app which at first seemed straightforward but later proved more complicated. All the extra time I spent refactoring my code test REALLY paid off here. If I'd had knots in my code, they would probably have wrecked me during this segment.
