Stage 1: Resume Screening (30-45 min) I spoke with an HR (Madur Shetty) who called me the next day after I applied via Hirist. I was really impressed at this stage as the company was represented beyond expectations by this HR (Kudos Madur Shetty) Questions: 1. Focused on previous experiences 2. Team collaboration skills 3. Few technical questions a. Comfort level with TDD b. How I keep up with relevant technologies in the domain(Android) I work on c. Awareness of SOLID principles, Clean Architecture d. Comfort level with cross functional team collaboration. Stage 2 :Technical - (45 min - 1 HR) I was interview by a Senior Architect and the questions were relevant to the role and domain. The interviewer also made me feel comfortable and the interview pattern was a healthy discussion style. Questions: 1. Previous experiences 2. Questions around Android Ecosystem (medium to hard) 3. Different Architecture Patterns 4. SOLID Principles 5. System Design for a particular use case (eg : Load List of Users from API and present it in the UI)- Focused on Data Layer (Repository Pattern), Domain Layer (Use Case Pattern), UI Layer(MVVM) Stage 3: Technical I was interviewed with my potential Reporting manager. The interviewer had a discussing styled pattern and made me feel very comfortable. Questions: 1. Past Experiences 2. SOLID Principles and Clean Architecture 3. System Design 4. Experience around cross functional collaboration 5. Experiences around mentoring a team 6. Testing ownership of the feature or product. Stage 4: Culture Fit I was interviewed by HR here and it was non technical and purely focused on culture fit and soft skills. Stage 5: Offer discussion with HR. Overall a great and wonderful experience.
