The questions themselves weren't difficult. The problem was that I found it difficult to find information on what would be asked. Questions included "tell me about a time when you have been organised" followed by "and how did this make you feel?" Questions related directly to the strengths that EY say they are looking for.
All the questions were straight forward. The question in the writing assignment was very broad, which was unexpected.
Nothing was really unexpected, all questions were normal behavioral ones.

I was given a case regarding a large conglomerate and was asked to explain my approach to increase productivity/solve issues that I identified as particularly important.

None of it was "tricky", they just wanted to get a feel for you as a person, and get to know what you were interested in. Through conversation, interviewers decide whether they see you as a fit for the firm and as someone they would allow representing the firm in front of a client.
