What was a time you found yourself in a position where you had to tell a colleague that you could not complete their request as you had other tasks to complete that were of a higher priority, how did you handle this situation?

Deputy General Manager asked me for my analytic ability, and, if I remember correctly, my strengths. He acted tough, always showered with difficult situations. He asked the important financial ratios of textile industry and automobile industry, and differences between these 2 industries. He even asked me to define cashflow.
