Why would you consider this position when you are over-qualified?
Interview questions were minimal when it came to the technical accounting side. As a CPA with graduate degree, it is assumed your are fluent in all technical aspects required for the position. By the time you are screened by HR and come onsite, they are looking for a team member. They never ask "why should we hire you". Yet they do ask, tell me about a time you made a mistake, and how did you fix it etc...
What would be one app that you feel you wanted to launch? How you would launch it? What would be your strategy? How many mattresses do you think Portugal sells on a yearly basis?
Did you do drugs?
why Deloitte? how would you approach to diff situation, like, if you are in the middle of the project and you spend X amount, then the project is cut? or if you have an Ad hoc project. rest was behavioral and easy Excel questions about Vlookup, Pivot, filtering and conditional formatting, "datedif" function.
Have you ever operated a tank before
Whats the size of the projects handled?
How many bonds can a Nitrogen atom make? (1-2 basic chemistry questions along these lines)
What does integrity mean to you?
