Relatively simple coding challenge, followed by discussions on the architecture and various compinents that make up modern software systems.
1.Program to convert uppercase char in given string to lowercase with appending that char with a special char. For this i tried writing code but he kept targetting me as i dont seem to know much as he knows according to him. 2.given an input field accepting number values from -2lakh to +2lakh range, how will i perform my manual testing for this i answered saying will divide my testdata into ranges and using boundry values i will proceed further testing. But for this he is expecting me to give answer for what is terminology for ranges(here its partition technique, which i failed to give). 3.provided root cause analysis done and narrowed down to issue on application how will i communitate with develper on this issue. for this i started saying that i will give a complete detail on env, domain, and steps to reproduce the issue, and there he stopped me and imposing have i ever looked into application logs in my total experience and questioning me on my working, for which i said that i do work on logs and know how to analyse exceptions occured on application, but he is not convinced that until he brought up word "log" i havent say that. which actually i havent finished my anwser yet. A very bad conversation i had till now. I didnt expected this from such a good company.
