Questions relating to my own experience (which i was surprised by, because i had extensively prepped beforehand on the topic of research that i was interviewing for, but they did not probe me on my knowledge of that).

The questions focused on my previous research and some general questions surrounding the position. There was a focus on competencies and inquiry into my sincerity for the position. It is clear that if you are not passionate about the subject matter or conducting research, this is not the position for you.
