Tell us more about your research. Questions were generally aimed at determining how my research might fit within the context of other TSM's within the division. Except perhaps one or two occasions questions were not aimed at research and were a test of some sort.
What projects did you do before? what is your career plan?
Basically, all of the questions were either technical questions about my specific research, or questions about what I would be interested in researching
never had an interview, was colleagues with the hiring mentor
They asked about coding experience and relevant coursework and research experiences.
where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Questions were based on my presentation.
The only difficult question really is articulating what you want to focus your research efforts on. At least this is true for me as I just see science as a wide open playground.
