One interview question that stuck with me was how I would describe myself in one word, when it comes to how I show up in a team setting.
HR asked about my current role and how I managed through certain challenges. My conversation with the team lead was mainly speaking about the role itself and how current position would translate into the Target life (so to speak)
The team probed on intellectual curiosity and industry experience, and several of our conversations were led by my questions, vs the interviewer. This allowed for more fluid conversation and gave everyone a sense of core competencies as well as conversational style.
Scenario based questions along with sales technique. A few questions around the industry and my viewpoints and what I thought of several industry trends.
If you have to choose one, would you be more comfortable in a corporate or startup setting?
I found the group assessments the most challenging as you had to strike the balance between being assertive while not being bossy.
