What is your biggest strength?
Alot of questions abounded about the role of the job and of the recent changes to the council (municipal districts etc) . However, wexford councils website didn't provide a detailed job spec for the role so to find one I looked at previous vacancies in Dublin CC. There was a 5 month wait between job application deadline and the interview. Q. What role do Councillors play in local government?
Previous roles, how would you stay motivated in the council with no incentives like private sector, etc
Discuss elaborately your work experience?
Tell me about yourself. How did you find about the vacancy. What position are you interested in? Do you think you can work under pressure like us, Koreans?
Can you tell us about a time there was a conflict with a customer, and what you did to deescalate the conflict?
None of the questinos were difficult or "tricky"
What makes you right for this position?
Various questions, some of which are not job specific. You get little time to prepare for the questions and you are not even able to ask questions/clarify as you are just speaking to yourself.
