Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Talk about a situation where you were working with a diverse group of students or colleagues who were approaching a situation from different view-points or even different cultural values. What did you do to encourage or foster open thinking in this environment? What was the outcome?
Can you talk the panel through a situation where you were required to change or adapt the standard way of performing a function/teaching method or other activity, when you didn’t agree with the change (it was imposed on you)? How did you go about this? What was the outcome?
The teaching demo is around 30 mins and then followed up by many questions from faculty members. If the topic is relevant to the teaching programs, specific questions may be raised which needs concrete answers while in other cases, general questions should be expected. The final interview basically consists of the teaching and research presentation and structured discussion on how you fits with the program / school.
