I was asked about how power transformers operate. The HR questions were similar to: What do you think you will bring to the company; Give and example when you have faced a crisis; How do you deal with conflict?

Why did you study engineering? What does safety mean to you? How did you resolve a conflict between two members in the team? How would you size a conductor? What does power factor mean in the practical sense?

Questions were not difficult. Very typical. Favorite classes. Examples of overcoming difficutl situations. Example of team work. Hobbies, etc., Your best and worst qualities. What you know about AEP and why you want to work for them. What are you career goals for the next 5 years.
