We have a website that displays some weather data. We use a third-party API to gather the data and the website is just responsible for presenting the data to the users in a palatable way that also makes it easy to navigate and make subsequent requests for new data (e.g. going from showing current weather to looking at a 5-day forecast). To access this third-party API, we must use an API key. The API is private and so we don’t want to hard-code it into our front end. Your assignment is to build a reverse proxy that our front end can make requests to in lieu of the actual API endpoint. This proxy will store the API key on it and forward the requests made by the front end to the third-party API endpoint, and then return the API’s response back to the front end client.
