Basic HR/behavior interview (your "elevator pitch", what languages you know via projects you've worked on, etc) and then coding questions about Android development/Java/Kotlin, then an algorithm coding question that's language agnostic.

There were three main interview rounds: 1. Technical discussion: I went in expecting a Leetcode style session but was pleasantly surprised to see that the focus was on my background and experience. On and off I was quizzed about some aspect of Android dev but I got the sense that it was more to scope out my experience than to make me clear some impossible bar. 2. Engineering Process discussion: this round was I think to get a sense of how I manage my time and how comfortable I would be operating within their workflow. Very straightforward. 3. Culture discussion: We spent some time discussing company culture and mission and then moved on to discussing compensation expectations. Overall, I had a positive interviewing experience but I ended up declining the offer because of mismatched compensation expectations. The benefits did not make up for the base salary offered imo. It's a small, privately-held company so adjust expectations accordingly.
