Junior Financial Advisor Interview Questions

6,958 junior financial advisor interview questions shared by candidates

1st interview: Stereotypical interview questions: tell me about yourself; strengths and weaknesses; your experience in sales 2nd interview: spoke with a senior member that's part of the Nour family; how would you bring in business for them? 3rd interview: on-site at their depressing building; they printed out a sheet with typical interview questions and asked me to write down my answers before we discussed them Take the interviews for the experience, but don't even consider accepting an offer. It's a sweatshop. They'll exploit you by forcing you to work long hours cold calling people. At some point, you'll be terminated, and the advisor who you works under will keep all the clients. They aren't yours. You will earn almost nothing, with this being a 100% commission role. You will learn almost nothing, besides how to follow a script. During my interviews, each of the interviewers made sure to mention how they make a ton of money; they don't have a good reputation and the role clearly sucks, so this is their tactic to pitch their company to you. Search on Linkedin for the career paths of people who have held the Associate position. It doesn't lead anywhere, because it's actually a call centre position. On Google, most of their reviews are fake. Most of them are 5 star reviews by their own employees using their real names; the rest are obviously fake.
