Why did I want to help people
I was asked generic interview questions during the phone call like "why should we hire you?" They also told me the salary during the phone interview, and implied that it was nonnegotiable. When I met with the attorneys, I was asked multiple times if I can work long hours and if I dont mind document review. The questions were very focused around satisfying this firms short term needs.
Out of all the practice areas of the firm, what area could you practice from day one?
You will be asked the general, "why do you want to be a prosecutor?", "Why the Bronx?", hypotheticals, questions about previous work experience, a legal issue you worked on.
