I just want to make a comment on the interview. I understand Facebook's culture is unique and the envrionment thrives on collaboration and open communication. I believe that is very helpful in terms of the Facebook's product. However, I believe a certain decorum needs to be maintained when you are running a business. Facilities is part of operations - running the business. Facilities is not part of your product. Therefore, I believe management and people who work in that group needs to maintain a certain level of professionalism. Create a balance between catering to Facebook's culture and professionalism. The Manager who interviewed me has none of these traits. It has been an aspiration for me to work for Facebook but after the interview, I realized Facebook was not all that.
There are way too many behavioral questions. Not enough to get a feel for me or me for them.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years time
Describe how power flows in a data center from the utility to a computer. Describe how a building automation system works.
You come to work and have 3000 emails but an only answer 800, how do you do so?
Organizational Skills? People Skills? Supervision Experience? Detail Orientation ?
