It was a very unpleasant experience to attend the interview with Informatica. And I feel sharing the feedback. The candidate with whom I spoke came with a question paper, that itself indicates where he is. I wonder if he knows React, Angular. But he is asking me to explain the React. I am very sure that he did not understand what I spoke. All he asked is what is there on my resume. And he does not know basics, seems like they got stagnant and does not even how UI is emerging and just speak why not Angular why React. That questions the basics of the two-way and one-way data binding. He does not even know Javascript is also called as ES5. When I mentioned about ES6, he asked me why ?. I started explaining the reason the world is moving to ES6 and explained some quirks present in ES5 to which he replied, why did you not evaluate ES5 before taking up and moving again to ES6. Which made me awestruck, and explained ES5 is the current javascript version what we use. It shows where he is. And asking why program manager is required for a project, can't you know what feature you should introduce in your application. All our program managers are from IIM's and if someone questions why program manager? it made me laugh to the core. At last, if a panelist is speaking to the candidate about React which panel itself does not know, then the candidate is not failing it is the Panelist who is failing. I think today the panelist Mr.Narasimhan or some guy who he is, has failed abruptly. When asked about the tech stack what they are using, he told they are multiple frameworks are being used. Javascript, Angularjs and mostly they are using their own framework.
