I had to write an essay: If you could employ one person for UBS except you, who would it be and why? which is what they asked me about in both interviews. The other questions were competency based and the HR one was more about the programme.
Talk about a difficult obstacle you had to overcome. What did you learn from it?
Name one of your favorite brand? Why so?
#1) How much are you currently earning? #2) What are your salary expectations? All other questions had nothing to do with the actual job description posted on their HR portal, followed by rapid fire "gotcha" attempts to grill me over experiences I do not claim to possess via my resume. Given the amount of time and resources this multi-billion dollar outfit invested in me as a candidate, the grande finale was nothing short of an unprofessional, unorganized parade hosted by the new generation of local socialites who now run the show. Buyer beware for anyone considering a relocation or telecommute. This place seemed like a small town, old money playground in the middle of nowhere.
