We are thinking about redesigning a part of our system. How would you go about doing it? Then a VERY cursory outline of the problem space ensued that took up about 15 minutes of the allotted 55 minutes. Side Note: The TRUE extent of the problem was glossed over and left out a HUGE amount of exceptionally important details. These details ultimately required a fundamental design shift that had wide ranging positive consequences. Even the design presented on the whiteboard would have hobbled the system without ALL of the other critically important details.

The most difficult question at the time was , "What do expect your daily routine to be like?"
Have you ever worked as a contract attorney??
Is this a normal recruitment procedure?? In the interview I was asked about my personal life... you do not get any feedback until you chase them...
"What kind of job would you prefer: a stable, where you follow a specific plan or a challenging, unpredictible and therefore more stressful?"
Any conflicts of interest from past projects (if you're a typical doc review attorney, you've run through so many projects that you could be conflicted out of half of the Fortune 500. Best practice is to keep good records so you can answer these questions).
I was only asked if I would relocate since the job is for their location in another state!
Why I would like to return to the company?
They asked me if I had any experience in the area of law in which the project was centered.
This time my resume spoke for me, and on-the-job demonstration of skills.
