Coming from a non-finance background the case study activity was a little difficult, but they are understanding. They mostly just as you to look at a situation and explain how you would approach it and then there is a brief role playing activity. The focus is less on the technical information and more on the interaction.
The most difficult part is the case study and role play because they are looking for a specific answer and give you very little information to give a correct response.

In the interview focused on my resume and personality, they did ask a technical question about Vanguard. It wasn't the most difficult question, but if you didn't know the difference between at ETF and a mutual fund it would have been very difficult to answer. Be sure to look over some Vanguard material and company information before interviewing.
Case Study role play was the hardest part of the interview. Test ability to offer exceptional customer service, adhere to company policies, think outside the box and take initiative.
