what is my inspiration for working with data
There was a short phone interview to check general fit, followed by a home assignment that was open for 2.5 hours. The first part was an Excel question (1 hour) where they described an application, provided raw data, and asked to choose 2–3 KPIs, calculate them, and analyze the results—explaining what insights can be drawn and why. The second part (1 hour) was a similar task, but with three Excel tabs containing additional graphs, again requiring KPI selection and analysis. After that, there was a 12-minute video question where I needed to explain the analysis I performed in the first two tasks. Finally, there was an SQL question, which was relatively straightforward.
Why do you want to leave your current position?
What would I improve in the game?
I was given several graphs showing users, number of spins, and dates – analyze possible behaviors based on the graphs. Then, I had to write an SQL query to get the average total spins per user for each date.
Do you have any experience in data analysis?
A home assignment that lasted two hours and was measured in time. There are several sections, the first part general analytical questions. In the second part questions about graphs that prescribe some kind of statistical analysis. Part three is to write queries in SQL, they give the structure of the tables and an example of the data in each table. Excessive and very difficult homework for a relatively initial role.
I was represented graphs and had to give my opinion on them. What would you analyze for the coin mater game? how would you improve it?
What kind of data would I collect to answer a specific business problems (presented in the interview). How would I analyze the data I suggested collecting (which graphs to plot). Given a mock graph of the data, how would I interpret it and what would I do to better understand it
