An interviewer described her research in about 5 sentences then asked me to propose the next steps that should be done.
A specific question from the faculty members' recent study. i.e., To find novel antitumor agents utilizing toxic metabolite generated in endogenous metabolism, which protein (enzyme, transporter, etc.) would be most appropriate? Transporter (I have already read the publications of each faculty members which published in past three years and I was able to know the purpose of this question)
The majority of questions asked are not technical. The one I found most difficult to answer was why here? There are many excellent Universities where one can obtain a doctorate in the biomedical field. It is advisable to prepare a number of reasons why this particular university fits your needs better than any other.
