(Good customer service skills etc) How do you handle a complaint? (First try to resolve it yourself, if not resolved, take it up with management) What would you be doing whilst the cafe is not busy? (I said cleaning, making sure everything is presentable and hygienic) Do you have cooking skills and knowledge of food and hygiene regulations? (just say you often cook at home, have knowledge of food and hygiene either from previous job or school) When are you available to work? Are you available for an immediate start? They do ask for references and DO call them up. Do not try to write any fake grades or anything!
