Assignment: - AIDL/Launcher app based question. I wasnt familiar with either of these concepts but still submitted the assignment. After submission I realised what I did was wrong! So imagine my surprise when I got a call from HR two weeks later telling me that I cleared it. Android Round 1: - Really stupid questions. The interviewer was dumb and inexperienced. I wrapped up the interview in 30 mins. - The interviewer asked me to switch on my cam even though he didn't. - The HR joined and recorded the entire interview without even asking my permission. Android Round 2: - Considering how the Android round 1 went you can imagine how surprised I was to get a callback. This round was slightly better and the interviewer seemed more experienced. The technical rounds were easy. Anybody with half a brain can crack it. HR round: - Made me an initial offer with 5% hike that I declined. The HR told me some crap about this being a good opportunity to learn and grow. - They came back next day with a 15% hike, that I accepted since I was looking for a change. - In this round the HR even mentioned that she doesn't want to give me a big hike because they have had bad experiences with candidates in the past. Apparently they fired candidates after they joined (I was like, how is that my problem?!). - I accepted this offer on phone - Fortunately I got another offer next day that I accepted and declined this
