Interview
I was first contacted by the recruiter via email. The recruiter asked about my availability and scheduled a telephone interview with the hiring manager. The interview was short, it took about 30 minutes it had general experience questions. Few days after that call I was asked for my availability with a week’s notice for the next stage that had been provided. After that there was no answer for some time and just in short notice the recruiter asked for the interview to be brought forward reducing that week’s notice to just 2 days. The initially agreed start of e interview was 10am but then the recruiter changed that to earlier on even shorter notice disregarding the travel time of 2 hours and 40 minutes that I had to make to their office. The cost of transportation was not supported by Zurich. The duration of the second interview was 2hours+. The first hour was a case study to which you will have 25 minutes to prepare a verbal response. The scenario that I got was: managing a project where design was completed and development was in progress and a stakeholder has asked for a change to be included to which the Programme Manager agreed it made sense to include but there was no additional budget. I was tasked to explain how I would integrate this change without affecting the budget or timeline of the project. The second part at the interview consisted of a pannel interview and it was competency based. It was quite mechanical overall. The next day a dry rejection email came as their response. Because it’s all very mechanical and you are made to feel in the recruitment process as you are a particle of dust in their big universe my experience was not great with interviewing with them. The rejection email completely lacked of any feedback, it was not communicated in an empathetic way, and because as a candidate you do invest as well effort, time, and money to be the chosen one it does leave a bitter experience when you get a blunt notification.
Overall I would not recommend them because of the extremely mechanical interviewing approach and that empty email that says no to you from which you cannot learn what you need to improve.

Fue un proceso largo, de más de 2 meses y 6 entrevistas. Una con RRHH, otra con team leader, luego una prubea, defender la prueba, otra con directora y otra con CEO.
