I applied through college or university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Wipro (Chennai) in Sep 2013
Interview
it was an on-campus interview, with 4 rounds. It started with a GD, and then we hap aptitude round. All those who cleared were called for the technical and HR rounds the next day.
The aptitude round was extremely easy and the technical round was fully based on your area of interest. As a fresher,a very good interview experience for the first time
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The technical officer asked a random aptitude question which had no logical answer. I ended up asking to look at the question again, after which he realized the question was wrong. He took it very lightly and moved on to the next question without any problem
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wipro (Bengaluru) in Jun 2010
Interview
I had gone as part of a walk in interview for freshers. After initial formalities, there was a written test.
After the test, few people were selected for the next round.
We were asked to write an essay. I thought this would be used in the interview later on, but my interviewer didn't even refer to the essay even once during the interview.
There was no elimination based on the essay, and everyone was then moved to the interview with the HR/technical round.
He had asked general question, like tell me about your self, the project that you worked on in the final year, how the things had been implemented, why do you want to join wipro, do you have any questions etc.
