Question 1
In what ways do you have experience with customer relations?
The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Waitrose in Jul 2015
Interview
I had a group interview with 2 otherswhere we were given some issues from customers and we had to come up with an action plan of how to deal with it. We were given a brief which we had 5 minutes to read and make notes. We then had 20 minutes to work together to produce an action plan (3 key issues, solutions, resources needed etc) and write it on flip chart paper. We did not have to present it. We were then taken one by one to have a 1:1 interview. The interviewer was friendly and fairly informal, so it was just like having a chat really. He told me that I had done well in the group chat (apparently they look for asking questions and good listening) and at the end of the interview he told me I definitely had a job but I won't know exactly what until the current year 13 employees find out whether or not they are leaving to go to uni.

I applied online. I interviewed at Waitrose (Kings Cross, England) in Jul 2015
Interview
I attended a group assessment and when I first arrived I was handed a sheet to fill my availability, uniform size, personal details, they gave me a name sticker and I had my 1:1 interview where I was asked basic questions, the woman interviewing me was friendly and made sure I was comfortable, the group interview was next and we were give 9 products with all the information about it and 5 customers with different needs, we then had to match each customer to a product, first we had to discuss, there was 9 of us and a tip is to try to talk as much as you can to be noticed, after we had made our choices we had to present it to the interviewers, answering the question why did you pick this product, how will you get the customer to buy it, how will you give good customer service. After this we were told that if we passed this stage we would be placed in a suitable vacancy but since it's a new store this would take up to 4 weeks, they said we would all get an email telling us if we had been successful, I was fortunately and I'm now waiting to be placed in a suitable vacancy
