I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Annecy) in Feb 2020
Interview
Technical Test, call with HR, call with Producer then I go on site to do another interview with the HR and another with the Producer and the Lead Developer. Then after a few days I got another interview with the Tech Director. Then they told me they received an "internal application".

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Montréal, QC) in Nov 2019
Interview
A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn and I shared my interest in a position. After a quick chat over phone I received an online survey link with questions about software development (C++, C#, Optimizations, Caching, Hardware in General, Software, etc.) A few days later I received an invitation to an onsite interview with 2 different teams. Both teams outlined their technical challenges and especially the first project and team was a great match. I received another invitation to the next onsite interview with more and deeper technical questions. I had a very good feeling and enjoyed the overall experience a lot - until this stage. HR called me two days later, and told me the team would like to make me an offer but the team received a hiring stop for 6 month. They referred me to another team and they were interested. Unfortunately I would have needed to go through a similar interview process again to ensure the new team is a good match as well. The role didn't sound interesting to me so I declined it. To say it bluntly, Ubisoft wasted more than three days of my time - and of their own employees time. Very disappointing experience!
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Ubisoft (Singapour)
Interview
Had 3 rounds of conversation but can conclude recruiting process has unclear decisions on next steps. Recruiting manager unable to provide overview of the interviewing process. Had to follow up with her and takes days to reply.
Poor candidate experience. I had no idea why I should even consider moving to this studio in Singapore.
I get asked "Tell me more about your past experiences" 3 times. Guess that means it's a must answer question for all interviewing rounds.
