Uber Software Engineer interview questions

Applied with referral from friend. Start with phone interview with recruiter. Speeding excitement for Uber's mission was important. Then, I did a code pairing phone screen with a question about palindromes. Then on-site many rounds of interviews. Problems were easier than I thought and interviewers helped to solve the answers. Showed enthusiasm for Uber. However, no offer in the end. Perhaps I didn't reach the bar. The Uber team seemed to be under more stress due to very high growth, but they are intelligent.
