Uber Software Engineer interview questions

I applied the Software Engineer in Uber. The first round is online technical test on CodeSignal platform. There are 3 coding questions, time limit is 70 mins. The questions are given some case problem. It needs some time to understand the questions, there are picture, example, and even animation to explain the questions too. I did some mock test on CodeSignal twice, to practice time management. After the online coding passed, I had a technical video screen. It is leecode medium question in top 100 liked questions. It is not difficult for me to do. The interviewer is not nice and not professional. I explained the solution approach, wrote the code and explained the code logic. He did not respond to me. I didn't know if there is any technical issue on Zoom that he cannot response to me. I just checked the audio and connection in Zoom, then I saw he was using his phone. He did not look at my code. Later, when I finished the coding, he still has no response to me. I repeated and repeated that I finished the coding and did some testing. Finally he noticed and the interview was ended afterward. Terrible experience in this interview.

After submitting a CV I got invitation for an interview. After that I had to do technical task in 60mins with 2 coding exercises. After successfully doing that, I was invited to 3 interviews. Two of them were coding interviews and one was HR. Technical interviews were fun, interviewers were very friendly. In HR interview the interviewer asked a lot about projects and didn’t actually ask about my personality and aspirations. The interviewer were saying a lot about his opinion about my projects and it seemed more as a discussion. Overall I thought it was medium difficulty. But what really was unacceptable is that after these 4 interviews I was told they will decide whether I got in or not. In the end, I got an email that they want to discuss the feedback on interview. Naturally, I thought I will get an offer as why would you want to have a meeting to say that you don’t get it. Anyways, I joined it thinking that I got the offer and they only said what I did bad and told me I didn’t get the offer. I got very sad and I didn’t understand the purpose about this last meeting. Yea that was not nice at all.
