I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2017
Interview
1) Phone screen
2) Video conferencing
3) Video conferencing
4) Excel exercise
The phone screen was standard and straight forward. There was an effort to low ball on salary expectations from the get go - However, the next 2 rounds with a potential team member and then manager was extremely professional. The HR person also provided some feedback in between the rounds, which was very welcome. The Excel exercise required data scrubbing of a high degree and HR called mentioning I would not be getting an offer. However, HR did not respond with any feedback after mentioning please reach out for feedback if at all - this is where the process ended on a less strong note. If your company practices lengthy interview processes, it is only fair to provide feedback to candidates who actually progress along further along the process.
