I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Mumbai) in Jun 2016
Interview
First Round was an online test. They say they are testing your math skills but basically they are testing your excel/data handling skills. You need knowledge of pivot tables, etc and a good knowledge of Uber's Business model to be able to crack this round.
The second round was one person from HR called me to as a couple of questions like how to add more drivers, 'tell me about yourself' etc. and then she told me that someone else will contact me on Monday 3 pm.
The next round was pure HR for me. Why should we hire you, why did you leave your last company, who told you about this vacancy, etc. I was rejected in this round.
After the test, the second phone call was like 2 weeks after that.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Le Caire, ) in May 2016
Interview
Three parts of the process:
1. an initial HR interview: your motivations, qualifications, why uber?...etc.
2. Analytical test: that was the hardest part! Needs a lot of preparation and a thorough knowledge of excel and maths.
3. Final set of interviews: face-to-face with someone from Uber coordination team, then 3 other video interviews with their staff in different places - questions are the same about uber metrics, uber supply, partner drivers..etc.
N.B. I Never heard from them after the interviews, not even a rejection.

Question 1
If Uber was to launch in a new city, what would it be and why?
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Singapour)
Interview
I applied online, 3 weeks after which I received an email stating I had been shortlisted for the role and need to take the online test within 48 hours. There were other candidates in later stages of the process. 2 days later, got the communication to schedule a round with recruiter. After the call, the HR reached out stating I will be going through 3 rounds of interview with the team (interview scheduled a week from then).
It has been a week since I interviwed at Uber but have not received anything yet stating rejection or selection and it's testing my patience :) just have my fingers crossed and hope that the wait is for better!
Interviews were more like a chat asking things about my past experiences and what I am good at. About myself, some situational stuff, some Uber related case discussions like how would I deal with a driver who is very angry about being blocked from Uber. Some unrelated (to me for the tole in wuestion) marketing type questions...which I was not good at. All in all, a good experience!
