I applied online. I interviewed at Uber (San Francisco, CA) in May 2015
Interview
After the initial phone screen, I had a phone interview with 2 software engineers. Using Coderpad.io, I was asked to program a solution for 2 problems, which they had preprepared with some existing boilerplate code. I struggled with a portion of the 2nd problem, and was later told via email that they would not be continuing with the interview process.
Tough but fair, thought it could have been more involved but they had their ideal candidate already in mind before the interview began. Would interview again for an engineering role.

Question 1
How would you improve workflow of the engineering process?
Low speed and low efficient team. I did the first phone interview in 2 months ago, and just heard back from the onsite about two weeks ago. The interview process is just ok, but they seems only have one answer, without accepting any other alternative answers. The behavior question is also weird.

Question 1
How to solve the conflicts between you work and your manager’s expectation?
Fair phone interview asked about quadtree encoding ... then flew me up to Pittsburgh where I met the team on the campus. Small teams working on difficult problems.
