One of the most unprofessional and non communicative interview experiences I've ever had. I interviewed for Uber Eats. I completed a basic phone interview with a recruiter, and she emailed me back the next day saying she wanted to move forward to do a virtual interview with a hiring manager, and she asked for my availability for the next week. I emailed her back on the same day, and received no response. I heard nothing from anyone at Uber for a month (even though I sent another follow up after 2 weeks). Then, I got an email at 11 pm from another recruiter who wanted to schedule a phone interview, but said it had to be the next day. I emailed back to clarify because I was unable to schedule an interview so last minute, and I got no response. A week later I received a phone call out of the blue from the second recruiter. He told me he wanted to have a phone screen right then (even though I couldn't, I had class), and that he wanted me to do a virtual interview the next day (and clearly didn't read my resume, as he was insistent that the interview be on site even though the position is in Chicago and I live in New York). He told me it was crucial I complete a sales assessment for the role, but that I only had 2 hours to do it, and stressed how strict the deadline was - even though he waited until two hours before to call me and tell me what was going on. He had no idea that I had done a phone interview a month ago. While I was in class, he started TEXTING me interview questions, which I felt was extremely unprofessional and strange. I withdrew from the interview process because I was not interested in working at such a non communicative and disorganized company. I received a condescending email back from him.
