I applied online. I interviewed at Tinder (Los Angeles, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
The interview process was standard. I submitted a resume, received a recruiter call, and went in for a multi- person interview at Tinder HQ. It took about a month. I met with 5 people. The lead and senior staff I met were oddly condescending.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Tinder

Interview
The interviewers were snotty and condescending. I explained a project I worked on to show my interest in the dating space and one of them just drawled, "That's.... ambitious" in response. Seems like they just wanted a naive student who was awestruck at Tinder's name and lots of cheap labor. 7 interns, no entry-level design hires, and no plans to hire entry-level designers in the future... red flag.
