30 mins phone call with the HR in China to discuss the role. Unfortunately, she does sound bored, uninterested, and a tad rude. I would say the JD of the role requires much more experience and it was misaligned when we discussed it on the phone. Certainly requires more than a year of working experience to solve and analysis technical issues of products, especially in such a new role with no fixed processes.
Questions where pretty surfaced, so it will be better if you are able to break it down into details to iterate how it relates to the role to stand a better chance.
They do not provide feedback either, might be a culture thing!

Question 1
Tell me about an impactful project that you've worked on.
How would you troubleshoot a user experiencing an issue with an API call they are making?
Why Tiktok and why are you leaving your current company?
I applied online. I interviewed at TikTok (Singapour) in Dec 2022
Interview
One of the worst interviwer I seen. Very unprofessional manner of handling an interview, looks to be rushing off and wanting to end the interview as soon as possible. As a interviewer myself, I strive to ensure the candidate have positive experience even if he/she is not suitable fot the role. Since the time allocated is the dedicated time for the candidate.

Question 1
Do you know about the domain you are going applying for? Why are you leaving your current job?
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at TikTok (Tel Aviv-Yafo) in Sep 2021
Interview
Probably by far the most unprofessional interview/hiring process I had.
First interview with HR explained there will be 4 to 5 steps over 4 weeks.
After second interview with manager, I didn't get any update from hr for over one week, till I asked what's up.
Then they said they got great feedback and I move to next step (technical interview).
Teck interview was easy, the interviewer asked easy. After the technical interview, again no update... I've waited one week and then I sent them a mail; again they said great feedback and I move to next step.
Here hr told me next step is again technical interview (with someone with the exactly the same position as the previous step), which was not planned as hr explained me at first. At this moment I should've reached the final step.
So I asked kindly hr why is so that I need to re-do the same interview, which she replied that she will check what's up.... again few days no news.
Then suddenly I received a mail saying that the direction changed their mind and they won't hire for this position in my area.
Overall I feel I just was used as a training for their hr peoples, which looked pretty junior, also my person of contact switched during the process without any notice.
