I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (New York, NY) in Sep 2017
Interview
Applied online had a phone screening with HR then a phone call with the hiring manager. Went to the office for in person interview with the hiring manager and a team member.
Was told my technical experience wasn't the problem but worried about my customer service experience. Funny because Goldman Sachs and Bloomberg thought my experience with customers wasn't the issue but my technical experience was lacking but still gave me an offer. I finally understand why Thomson Reuters is not close to being a leader and why a lot of good employees leave...

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Thomson Reuters (Denver, CO)
Interview
Two interviews: One with colleagues on team. One with hiring manager. The entire process was smooth and interviews were professionally conducted. There were no "gotcha" questions that often seem like a hazing process rather than attempting to glean any useful information about an applicant. The future colleagues and manager seemed most interested in getting a feeling for the personality of the individual to ensure a good cultural fit as opposed to tested deep industry knowledge, although that was certainly a prerequisite.

Question 1
I can't recall a single unexpected question. Perhaps, it was "who is your hero?"
