Applicant was required to submit on-application and follow-up appointment for interview was made. Applicant was interviewed by competent interviewer who was knowledgeable about posted position.
Interview location could have been in a more private area rather than a common office.
When applying for a job opening at a specific Home Depot a follow-up cover letter addressed to the store manager is advisable. Applicant should prepare for interview by learning what the position requires and apply with a fairly non-restrictive work availability.

Simple process. Even with no sales experience, they want you to be able to relate to people and know the products within your department. Be prepared to explain how you are most qualified by answering merchandise questions posed by manager.

Interview
I had two-phone interview before being asked to come into for 1:1 interviews with three different individuals.
I was told by HR to look for an email with directions, and an agenda. Never got it, they sent it to the wrong person.
They hired from inside, which I think they knew they were going to do all along. Big waste of my time !
