I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at The Home Depot in Jan 2012
Interview
I applied online and received an e-mail a few weeks later detailing that I would be contacted by the HR dept. I called the number provided in the e-mail answered some automated questions and was transfered to a person who asked a couple of customer service related questions: "How have you provided excellent customer service in the past?, What can you offer Home Depot?" etc. After conducting the phone interview I was told that they would like to set up a 1:1 interview, they didn't have any times available but I received an automated phone call about 30 minutes with times I could schedule an interview. Currently I am waiting to have my face-to-face interview.

Interview
I applied online and got an automated call the next day arranging a phone interview for 2 days later. The Assistant manager called me three days later and set up a drug screen for that day. I waited 7 days to get the results back and then was called in for a 1 on 1 interview with the Manager. He asked me about my customer service experience and offered me the job.

Question 1
They were all easy. Would I be willing to work for $9.80 hr? lol
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Cincinnati, OH) in Aug 2010
Interview
The interviewing process was slightly annoying being that you have to take a pre-screening phone interview that just reviews everything you put on your application. Once you make it to the one on one it is very relaxed and easy. It mainly consists of talking about your history in retail and what hours you would like to work.
