I was promoted from within the company. I attended 2 months of mentored training before taking a management assessment. The finale of the assessment was a panel interview. The next steps were a fit interview based on needs of location and position. The fit interview was a one-on-one interview.

I had an initial meeting with the store and assistant store manager. their standard procedure is to do a quick phone interview for initial screening then your second formal interview is with hiring manager. you will go over questions revolving around your past experience. The ASM asked me to do a mock sale to show my competence in question and listening with the customer.

Interview
I got an email asking me to call or visit a website because they were interested in speaking with me regarding my application. I called the number and answered a few questions by selection options on the phone. I was then connected to a representative who asked me a few more questions and then set up a 1 on 1 interview time at the store. I met with the supervisor of the MET team a few days later and was offered the position.
