I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Tata Consultancy Services (Mumbai) in Jun 2013
Interview
I attended a walk in that was on call based. There were around 100 people. first they asked us to register a long registration form. Then there was one technical round. Technical round was very detailed. Interviewer asked questions about core java, j2ee, design patterns, jbdc, collections, threading, SQL. Once that was done, people who were slected were called for Managerial Round. It was pretty basic. manager asked about current project, Notice period , current client ,how you see your future in 5 years. 3rd and last round was HR. Salary negotiation. TCS do not negotiate much on salary they decide it mostly on your current salary. You expect at most a 30-35 % hike.
