I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Target (Streamwood, IL) in May 2019
Interview
Filled out application in store on computer. They called back to schedule an initial interview and meeting, Went in for interview. Met with Front Line Team Lead, was asked some generic questions. Was asked to sit down so she could review with HR to see if they wanted to meet with me right away for second interview. Got second interview, was asked to wait while creating a job proposal to give to me so I could talk to HR. HR had all paperwork typed up and I was set up for orientation and a start date that very first interview day.
I applied online. I interviewed at Target (Atlanta, GA)
Interview
It was a fairly quick interview process, but an extended wait to start the job, and they were poor at communicating with me. I was told I got the position, then they didn't schedule my training for ages. Having a job but not having income was very stressful. I had started looking for new work by the time they scheduled my orientation. They generally seemed unorganized.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Council Bluffs, IA) in May 2019
Interview
Had 2 interviews one with a lead and the other wit Human Resources. With HR it was a walk around the store and talk about what is expected. They want you to treat each customer like they are a member of your family! Friendliness and approachable is what they want. The team lead interview was basic they are just getting a feel for you
