I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Target (Tinley Park, IL) in Sep 2011
Interview
Applied online and got a phone call for an interview about a month later. They were hiring for seasonal cashiers. Went in for an interview on Friday. The first interview seemed to go well.it was very laid back and the interviewer was super friendly. I was then moved to another office where I waited for about fifteen minutes for an HR represenative to interview me. She was also very friendly and asked the same type of situational questions and asked about personal experiences. At the end of the interview she asked if I would be interested in working at the service desk as well and if I had experience with doing returns. I told her I wouldn't mind and was comfortable with both. She told me they were conducting interviews throughout the week and would be in touch with me. I'm assuming I didn't get the position because I have read they offer you the job on spot and send you for drug testing. I mentioned in my interview their cashier. Motto :fast, fun and friendly and was asked if I had ever worked there. I revealed my brother worked there for several years and tipped me off. Perhaps they didn't like that.

Question 1
With all your education and experiences why do you want to work here?
The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Target in May 2009
Interview
I filled out a somewhat tedious application on a computer and waited. I was contacted shortly after and invited for an in-person interview in a small room above the store. It was a standard corporate/retail experience. It seemed like basic evaluation of my competence and communication skills. I was questioned about my work experience and education background, and asked standard interview questions, like: "What is your biggest weakness?" etc.
