I applied in-person. I interviewed at Subway (Edinburg, TX) in Apr 2023
Interview
You usually fill out a paper application and once you're done, you give it to the person in the front. Depending on your response, you can get a call for an interview or with a sense of wasted time. Assuming you hopefully get a call, your interview process should be a nice calm chat with the store manager about how you believe you qualify for the role and if you have what it takes. Occasionally, they will cite your application for questions about you to know your work ethic better and will generally be trying to get to know your vibe,
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is your availability like, and can you work weekends?
Easy flow, face to face and they are quite patient with you. The manager are understanding if it's your first time and let you through the flow of the process
Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
