I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Subway (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2010
Interview
Came to meet the manager. The manager and I sat down and he asked me few questions. First question was if I had any experience. Then, what school you went to. Few other questions were asked but they were normal questions. As long as you show him you're able to do the job and learn and give good customer service, you will be fine.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
there was no difficult or unexpected questions asked that cannot be asked. simply act like you want the job and are people person.
Very simple and straightforward. Normal questions like availability, have you worked in food service before, etc. I think it depends on location though since friends at other locations have had more substantive or less substantive interviews.
Straightforward and professional with typical fast food interview questions. Friendly and easy to talk to interviewers. Reasonable length and in person made it more comfortable. Great experience and easy interview.
Was pretty average hospitality interview process, focus on customer service in a fast paced environment, how to deal with stress, team work/ collaboration, company values, and your past experience. and availability etc.
