Applied through a recruiter who told me Sopra were interested in me and wanted to do a phone interview. Had a 20 minute chat with an HR rep, not really an interview as it was very relaxed and I didn't have to give too much information.
Within an hour they told me they wanted a second telephone interview and they would call me on the Monday. On the Monday morning I was told they had to reschedule to Wednesday. In the second interview I spoke to a Senior BA - again very informal, but asked me lots of questions about my BA experience, my thoughts on Agile and JIRA, my management experience. After the interview I was told they would have feedback about a face to face interview within two days. Over a week later they invited me to interview in London. Took three days to get a day/time confirmed for the following week (I was flying over from Spain at my own expense so date and time were very important).
The day before the interview they rescheduled for a different time - luckily to an earlier time that still allowed me to catch my train.
Interviewed in person by three BAs - two who were involved in the project the recruitment was for and one who was an agile specialist. Asked me lots of questions about Agile - how to handle stakeholders, how to prioritise user stories, how to utilise JIRA or other tracking systems to get the best out of them, my main tasks from my last role, what my career goals are. Again, quite informal. We all sat around a tiny table which wasn't really big enough for two people let alone four.
Interview was on the Thursday, an offer was made on the Monday. The money offered was £500 more than I was earning in Manchester with no regard to the cost of living in London. No second offer was made after I declined.
